Hacknowledge Lux becomes Swiss Post Cybersecurity Lux SA
In December Hacknowledge Lux will officially become Swiss Post Cybersecurity Lux SA. Barbara Terra has taken up the position of Director Luxembourg. The local team remains unchanged and will continue to provide customers with the same excellent service.
New company name in Luxembourg while the team remains the same.
Paul Such founded Hacknowledge, a vendor-neutral cyber security company, in Switzerland in 2016. Two years later, in 2018, Hacknowledge also established a presence in Luxembourg. Since then, it has built a strong base of loyal customers and grown into a talented local team.
In 2024, Hacknowledge strengthened its position by merging with a leading cybersecurity player in the Swiss-German region to form Swiss Post Cybersecurity, a market-oriented subsidiary of Swiss Post. Adopting this group name in Luxembourg is the next reasonable step in the company's growth strategy. With a workforce of 150 employees across the entire company, Swiss Post Cybersecurity is a strong and trustworthy brand. Customers in Luxembourg can now benefit from its full range of expertise and services. The formal publication in the business register RCS is scheduled for December.
As part of the ongoing commitment to investing in the Luxembourg market, Barbara Terra is taking on the role of Director Luxembourg. She has worked for the company for seven years. The trusted local team remains unchanged and is planned to grow, now supported by Swiss security analysts, providing an even greater range of expertise. Also, the goal remains unchanged, which is to provide customers with a comprehensive and cost-effective cybersecurity solution.
Paul Such, CEO Swiss Post Cybersecurity, said: “We are delighted about this important milestone in the evolution of our business. Also, the establishment of a new GRC department (Governance, Risk & Compliance) in Luxembourg this year was made possible by the robust foundation provided by our Swiss headquarters.”
Barbara Terra added: “This is exciting news and a new chapter for our Luxembourg team. In my new role, I am happy to work with the growing local team to provide our customers with the excellent service they have come to expect from us.”
Next May, there will be an opportunity to meet both the local team and experts from Switzerland in person at the local Hack’Lux Event, that takes place on May 19, 2026, in Luxembourg.
